Laptop Eraser

WHY TOUCHPAD OF A LAPTOP ONLY RECOGNIZE OUR FINGER BUT NOT A CLOTH, ERASER OR SOMETHING ELSE?

it can not be electrical conductivity as touch pad are made up of insulated materials and even the geletine has a close proximity to the electrical conductivity of human flesh yet touchpad does not respond to geletine too….
hey i got got the answer……i’ll share it with you guys later…after conforming it.

Because it is a capacitive touch .So you can handle it only by heat of your body and also by less pressure.If it is Resistive touch then you can handle it by anything but it requires more pressure.Hope this will help.
