Will a surge protector still work if you plug an extension cord into it?

I want to plug my laptop into my main surge protector I use for my PC. Do I still have the same surge protection if I use an extension cord from my laptop into the surge protector.

Yes man it will. Surge protectors usually come with warnings on using them with extension cords because they assume people are using them to create more outlets to plug in more devices then what the protector can handle. If you are plugging in just one laptop into one slot on a surge protector you are fine. Just double check the protectors warranty coverage to be sure that you don’t void it by using one.
