Is 77° normal for a 3 week old laptop tempature?

Hi, I was fixing my brothers ipod today on his girls laptop, and i downloaded speedfan whilst i was doing it and the tempature came up as 77°, i was like wtf my computer doesnt even reach 55° never mind 77°. But is that normal ?, plus it had an amd processer so i would assume that has something to do with it.
well there are only 1 airvents on it and the fan was running alright and the vent wasnt blocked (its hard to block because its at the side so it faces out wards when its on your laptop)
Yeah cos i had a macbook once and it did get warm but under teh 60° mark, core 2 duo stays cool then the fans come on at like 50° i think

no i think the best heat is 52-58 for a new laptop if all the air vents is open

Edit: sure dude i know what you say but the inlet of the vent’s is at the bottom and if you on a blanket or something it might prevent air from entering… but that wont push it to 77°… and i don’t know the normal heat for AMD…AMD sucks they run hot
